| The Florida Guardian ad Litem Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide additional resources for the Florida Guardian ad Litem Program and its affiliated circuit non-profit organizations in order to promote Guardian ad Litem representation for 100% of abused, neglected and abandoned children in Florida's dependency system.

Goals and Objectives
- To develop statewide communication on Guardian ad Litem Program related issues, and to provide a forum so members may meet, discuss and compare best practices, office policies and procedures, forms, newsletters and solutions to common problems.
- To increase volunteer recruitment efforts through the use of shared media markets, public service announcements, flyers and exchange of recruitment ideas.
- To promote the exchange of information regarding administration and management problems typical of Guardian ad Litem directors working within the state court system in our endeavor to strive for maintaining the highest quality programs.
- To further its members knowledge and expertise by promoting and conducting educational conferences, staff training, and sharing of technical assistance, and providing training and networking opportunities for staff and volunteers in order to support quality volunteer representation for children.
- To provide a unified voice to convey the importance of the work and services we provide for the state court system and the children of Florida.
- To identify and develop additional resources through the use of membership, in-kind donations, private sector participation, NCASA grants, and other sources of support.
- To provide current information regarding federal and state legislation, policy changes, trends in child welfare and court improvements and court decisions that impact the work of GAL Programs.
- To establish good fellowship and further the interests of the members of the Network.
